4K 18Gbps HDMI HDBaseT Extender Set. The PT-HDBT-1010 HDMI via HDBaseT Spec 3 extender set transmits HDMI signals at full 4K@60 4:4:4 resolution over a distance of up to 80 meters or at 4K@60 4:2:0 resolution up to 100 meters. The set supports HDMI version 2.0 with a maximum bandwidth of 18 Gbps including HDCP 2.2/1.4. Both the transmitter and receiver feature four USB-A "device" ports and one USB-B "host" port. USB signals, such as those for KVM, USB storage, or monitoring hardware, can be integrated at either end and connected to the processing PC at the other end. DIP switches on both devices allow switching between "host" and "device" mode. Another DIP switch on the receiver sets the ARC mode to "HDMI," "S/PDIF," or "Pass-Through." The system enables bidirectional transmission (or pass-through) of PoH/PoC and Ethernet. Both devices can be controlled separately via RS232. PureTools - High-quality electronic products for commercial applications . The PT-HDBT-1010 4K 18Gbps HDMI HDBaseT Spec 3 Extender Set consists of a transmitter (TX) and a receiver (RX) and transmits incoming HDMI signals via HDBaseT. Both devices are connected using a standard Cat. 5e / Cat. 6a cable over distances of up to 80 meters for 4K resolutions with a maximum of 60 Hz at 4:4:4 chroma keying or up to 100 meters for 4K resolutions with a maximum of 60 Hz at 4:2:0 chroma keying. The transmitter also features an HDMI loop output for local output of the HDMI signal at the TX location. Both devices each have one USB-B and four USB-A ports. The USB-A "device" ports allow you to connect USB 2.0 devices and transmit them to the other device via HDBaseT, to which the processing "host" PC is then connected via USB-B. This opens up a range of possible scenarios for USB signal distribution, such as connecting USB storage devices in a server room that can be easily accessed from the host PC at the workstation or presentation location. It also supports KVM devices, such as keyboards, mice, and webcams, for use with more distant PCs. Hi-Speed USB 2.0 is supported, allowing the integration of both older and newer devices. Devices with USB 3.x or higher thus transmit at a maximum USB 2.0 Hi-Speed data rate of 480 Mbps. Whether the transmitter or receiver operates in "Host" or "Device" mode can be easily configured using DIP switches on both devices. Another outstanding feature of the PT-HDBT-1010 is its versatile ARC compatibility, which enables connection to new and older audio devices such as AVRs. A total of three modes are available, which can also be easily switched between using DIP switches. In "HDMI" mode, the ARC signal from the connected HDMI display is converted to a compatible audio signal on the receiver, then transmitted back to the transmitter via HDBaseT and output via the HDMI and optical S/PDIF or Toslink ports. In this mode, CEC signal forwarding is not supported. In "S/PDIF" mode, the ARC signal is routed from the receiver's S/PDIF input to the HDMI and optical S/PDIF or Toslink ports and output there. Since the display device's CEC line is not used, it remains available for CEC pass-through applications. In "Pass" or pass-through mode, the actual ARC signal is forwarded, in addition to CEC, directly from the receiver's HDMI output port to the transmitter's HDMI and optical S/PDIF or Toslink ports, where it can then be used by an ARC-enabled audio device. The system supports bidirectional PoC or PoH power delivery. This means that only one of the two devices needs to be powered using the included power supply, allowing the other device to also be powered via the HDBaseT Cat. This saves power supplies and reduces cabling at one of the two locations. The bidirectional pass-through of 1G Ethernet signals enables easy Ethernet connection at the remote location without having to lay another Cat. Both devices have an IR input and an IR output, each with two 3.5 mm jack sockets. This means that the connected display device can be controlled from the source device and vice versa. The system also supports CEC control data via HDMI, which is also transmitted via HDBaseT (except in ARC "HDMI" mode). Both the transmitter and receiver also have a 3-pin Phoenix connector for control via RS232. Each device can be controlled individually and locally, the RS232 control data is not transmitted from one device to the other via HDBaseT. A 3.5mm stereo jack connection on the transmitter is provided for decoupling the audio signal. This means that the audio signal from the HDMI input can be easily integrated into an existing audio system. The 12V power connection on both devices can be locked using a screw cap. Both devices also have several status LEDs which indicate, among other things, the operating status, connection, HDCP version and loopout status.
