KDS-17-LITE 4K60 4:4:4 AVoIP Transceiver (Encoder/Decoder), 1GbE PoE

Stocking two AVoIP box types for every room doubles the spares shelf - the Kramer KDS-17 Lite ends that. One compact hardware SKU works as either a 4K60 4:4:4 encoder or a decoder: pick the role from the Web UI, a P3K command, or three short presses of the reset button, and the same visually lossless, sub-frame-latency codec as the full KDS-17 family carries the signal across standard 1GbE. A single PoE (802.3af) RJ-45 powers the unit and carries the AV stream and control together - no PSU, no second drop. Scaling to 4096x2160@60 4:4:4 (passthrough to 5120x2160@60 4:2:0), an MJPEG preview substream, IR and RS-232 over IP, and video walls up to 256 screens in decoder mode cover the real installs, while AES-256 stream encryption, 802.1x, HTTPS and OWASP-10 hardening keep IT happy. Natively compatible with KDS-17EN and KDS-17DEC, it is the cost-effective way to extend a KDS-17 system across education, SMB and budget-sensitive government projects.
