The FX-I645 is an AOC hybrid cable with an outer diameter of 4.5 mm. It complies with the USB 3.2 (Gen2x1) specification and is backward compatible with USB 2.0, supporting data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps. The cable features a USB-A connector on one end and a USB-B connector on the other, both with gold-plated precision contacts. Thanks to its hybrid construction, it offers complete shielding against electromagnetic interference and low attenuation for perfect transmission quality. The cable requires no external power supply, it is powered directly via the USB port. The FX-I645 USB-A to USB-B cables from PureLink's FiberX series are designed for optimal transmission of USB signals over long distances. The hybrid construction, consisting of fiber optic and copper conductors, enables significantly greater cable lengths than conventional USB-A to USB-B copper cables. This is made possible by transmitting USB data via fiber optic cables, which are free from electromagnetic influences/interference and supplemented only by copper wires for power transmission. The cables comply with the USB standard SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps (also called SuperSpeed+ or USB 3.0 / 3.1 / 3.2 Gen2 and USB 2.0) and can transmit data at up to 10Gbps or 900MB per second, or up to 480Mbit/s via USB 2.0.The small cable diameter of just 4.5mm allows for an extremely tight bending radius of up to 45mm (static) or 90mm (dynamic), making it particularly suitable for installation in confined spaces, such as the back of a rack. The USB-A and USB-B connectors feature gold-plated precision contacts and a nickel-plated connector body. This finish makes the connectors resistant to corrosion and guarantees long-lasting data transmission. Due to its hybrid construction, this cable cannot be used with the USB Power Delivery Profile. The maximum transmitted power is 5V at 0.9A for a maximum of 4.5W charging power.
