When the fire alarm trips, the building's voice has to be ready - and the Proel PA DBE06 is the desktop talk-back point that gets that voice out. Six software-programmable capacitive keys let an operator open any zone or group of zones on a Proel VAE Modular voice-alarm system, lean into the dynamic gooseneck microphone, press TALK and speak. Because every step of that signal path is supervised - capsule, cable, talk button and bus - the DBE06 carries full EN 54-16 certification, so it counts as part of the certified life-safety chain, not just a generic paging mic. Two RJ45 sockets daisy-chain straight onto the Cat.5 bus from the main unit, and an automatic compressor keeps speech levels even when someone shouts into the gooseneck. Power runs over the same RJ45 cable, with a 24Vdc auxiliary jack on the back for long runs of more than ten stations - so an installer drops one cable per station and the system handles the rest. The result: a quiet, certified emergency microphone that lives on a reception desk or control room desktop and earns its place every day for paging.
