Gold-Plated Perfect-Fit Connectors The precision-manufactured and perfectly fitting connectors with 24-carat gold-plated contacts guarantee optimal signal transmission and long-term reliable functionality. HDMI Ethernet Channel and Audio Return Channel. The Ethernet Channel (HEAC) in the HDMI cable allows IP-based entertainment devices such as televisions, set-top boxes, or game consoles to be integrated into the home network, allowing the internet or IP-based services to be used without additional cabling. The Audio Return Channel (ARC) also eliminates the need for an additional cable in home theater setups. When needed, it sends the digital audio signal back to the AV receiver via the HDMI cable, thus eliminating the need for a separate To slink cable. Quality is essential for professional applications and installations.
