The cable is equipped with an E-Marker chipset and can thus also be used as a charging cable for USB-C devices using USB Power Delivery with max. 3A / 20V / 60W or 3A / 5V / 15W without USB Power Delivery. The transmission is according to Display port 1.4 / 1.2 Alt-Mode standard and supports resolutions up to 8K / UltraHD-2 with 30Hz. When transmitting Display port 1.4 AV signals via Alt-Mode, the cables support a maximum data rate of the USB 2.0 specification for the simultaneous data connection. A full data rate can be achieved if the simultaneous AV resolution matches the Display port 1.2 specification. USB Alt-Mode also enables the connection of USB docking stations with multiple USB and separate AV ports as well as USB Power Delivery.
