When a voice-evacuation rack has to carry several hundred watts of amplification and stay reliable for years, heat is what kills it first - and that is exactly the problem the PA MDACTV solves. It is the fan-cooled, 3U/19" sibling of the MDAC8: an eight-slot modular case engineered to host the MDA-series and DMPower amplifier modules used in EN54-16 emergency sound and public-address systems. Integrated cooling fans move air across all eight slots so installers can populate the chassis with high-power 250W and 550W modules without worrying about thermal throttling in a full rack. Drop it into any standard 19" rack, slide modules into the eight bays, and you have a single, serviceable building block for paging, background music and voice-alarm - the same Proel mounting and connector conventions that the rest of the EVAC range already uses. Note: this version is now listed as discontinuous by the manufacturer (active replacement: PA MDAC8 for unventilated installations); use it where existing infrastructure or spares are involved.
