The 2km transmission distance can be achieved using SMF 9/125 μm Fiber cables with 1310nm. It supports 9.95 up to 10.3 Gbps bitrates with a energy consumption of under 1W. The module is RoHS-6 compliant (lead-free) and operates in the temperature range of 0°C up to 70°C. The uncooled 1310nm VCSEL laser is driven by a 3.3V power supply. It features an electrical interface for receiver limitations. The integrated digital diagnostics provide real-time access to the device, including an alarm system and alerts.
