It is an 8-input / 8-output digital audio matrix built around an Analog Devices SHARC 21489 processor, pairing full any-input-to-any-output routing with a complete DSP toolkit on every channel: compressors, expanders, automatic gain control, parametric EQ, automatic feedback suppression, an automixer, acoustic echo cancellation, automatic noise suppression, crossover filters and limiters. Eight balanced MIC/LINE inputs and eight balanced LINE outputs on Phoenix Combicon terminals make for clean, lockable installation wiring, while 48 V phantom power, a 110 dB dynamic range and THD+N below 0.003% keep speech and music transparent across large rooms. Integrators configure and monitor everything from the Windows DMP control software over standard Ethernet, and can publish custom touch panels to iOS and Android devices, so day-to-day operators get only the controls they need. Eight assignable GPIO ports, RS485/RS232, USB audio and 16 recallable presets tie the DMP88 into wall panels, paging stations and camera control (VISCA / PELCO) — making it the quiet engine room behind sound in shopping malls, hotels, museums, restaurants and conference rooms.
