When a Proel CSE6X ceiling speaker has to live above a non-traditional ceiling - a void with limited backing, an exposed structure, or a fire-rated plenum - it still needs a sealed enclosure behind it to load the driver properly and to contain sound spilling into the cavity above. The PA COVER6X is the factory-matched metal back-box (rear can) designed to do exactly that: a steel housing dimensioned to mate to the CSE6X chassis from above, giving the installer a controlled rear volume for consistent low-frequency response and a clean, robust mechanical interface to whatever the speaker is hung from. It is the dedicated legacy 6" ceiling-speaker accessory in the Proel commercial-audio range, paired specifically with the CSE6X model.
