When a building needs more than a PA — when it needs a certified life-safety voice that holds up under fire — the Proel AE604 is the single box that delivers it. Certified to EN 54-16 (voice alarm) and EN 54-4 (power supply), it is a wall-mounted, all-in-one EVAC system covering up to 4 zones on redundant A+B loudspeaker lines, with twin 300W Class D Pure Path amplifiers (600W total @ 100V) where the second amp automatically takes over if the first fails. There is no end-of-line resistor to fit: a 20 kHz FFT impedance circuit watches every line for cuts, shorts and ground faults in real time. Day to day, the AE604 doubles as a full PA — background music input, phantom-powered microphone input, 8 schedulable general messages on microSD, a 3-band DSP with compressor/expander, and a built-in scheduler. In an emergency, the front-panel PPT mic, the RJ14 remote call-station input and 2 monitored fire-alarm contacts route prioritised announcements to any zone. Built-in 48V charger and battery-test circuit handle the supplied 4 x 12V 18Ah backup pack for 36h standby plus 30 minutes at full power, and the lockable steel chassis with password-protected menu keeps unauthorised hands off the controls.

Features

  • 4-zone EN 54-16/EN 54-4 voice alarm in one wall-mount chassis — no separate rack of components to specify, wire or certify
  • Redundant 300W + 300W Class D Pure Path amplifiers on A+B loudspeaker lines: failure of either amp or either line never silences a zone
  • Continuous 20 kHz FFT line monitoring detects cuts, shorts and grounding to +/-5% with no end-of-line resistor to install
  • Doubles as a daily PA: balanced background music input, 48V phantom mic input, 8 microSD messages with scheduler, 3-band DSP and compressor/expander
  • Built-in EN 54-4 charger and battery test for 4 x 12V 18Ah backup — 36 hours standby plus 30 minutes at full power; RS485, USB and Ethernet for monitoring
