The rack's power strip grows a brain. The iPower IEC8 is a 1U smart PDU with eight IEC C13 outlets that meters voltage, current and power at both system and per-outlet level, switches each outlet on schedule or on command, and reports it all through a web dashboard. Dual TCP/IP ports keep the management path redundant, while SNMP, Telnet, MQTT, SSH and Modbus TCP hook it into control systems, DCIM and IoT stacks; alarm and data emails go out on their own. Overload and wiring-error protection guard the load; password/RADIUS login and SSL certificates guard the interface. AC 110-250 V in over an IEC C20 inlet at up to 16 A total, 10 A per outlet - controllable from the eight front buttons, RS-232 or the Web GUI.
