Control rooms, NOC operator stations and trading desks that need to monitor multiple PCs from a single seat usually compromise between three bad options: a stack of keyboards and mice, a software KVM that lags every input, or a hardware KVM that drops down to 1080p when 4K is what the workstations actually output. The iSwitch 801HKL ends the trade-off — eight HDMI 2.0 hosts share one 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 display, one keyboard, one mouse, two USB 2.0 peripheral ports (printer, USB drive, webcam, headset, barcode scanner) and a switching latency low enough that the keyboard responds instantly after a source change. Switching itself is up to the operator: tap a front-panel button, fire a keyboard hotkey, drag a mouse gesture, or send an RS-232 command from the room control system. HDMI 2.0 / HDCP 2.2 / HDR10 / Dolby Vision compliance means the link is transparent to any PC, Mac, Raspberry Pi, Linux distro or workstation hanging off it — no driver install, no control software, no licensing fees. Eight USB-A-to-B host cables and the 5V power adapter ship in the box, so the unit deploys at one seat the same day it arrives. The 247x72x36mm enclosure tucks under any monitor stand and carries a 3-year warranty.

Features

  • Single-display 4K KVM for 8 PCs - one HDMI display, one keyboard, one mouse control 8 hosts with no software install and no per-seat licensing; the 8 USB-A-to-B host cables ship in the box for same-day deployment
  • 4K UHD at 60Hz 4:4:4 - full HDMI 2.0 / 18Gbps / HDCP 2.2 bandwidth keeps every desktop sharp at the highest workstation resolution; HDR10 and Dolby Vision pass through cleanly
  • Four ways to switch - front-panel buttons, keyboard hotkeys, mouse gestures and RS-232 (1152000 bps, 8-bit, 3-pin terminal) - pick what fits the operator's workflow or wire it into the room control system
  • Zero post-switch keyboard delay - the keyboard registers strokes instantly after a source change, unlike software KVMs that introduce 100-300ms of input lag
  • USB 2.0 device hub built in - two USB-A peripheral ports follow the selected host, so a single shared printer, USB stick, barcode scanner, webcam, USB microphone or speaker is reachable from whichever PC is active
  • Universal OS support - Unix, Windows, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, macOS X, Raspbian, Raspberry Pi and other Linux distributions; no drivers, no agents, no host-side configuration
  • Hot plug and plug-and-play - connect or disconnect any PC or peripheral at any time without powering down the switch or the hosts; ±8kV ESD protection on every port
  • Compact 247x72x36mm desktop chassis, runs from a 5V/2A USB-style supply, 3-year warranty - fits under a monitor stand, no rack space needed, no extra fan noise
