The HSL Smart Power Port is a key part of the Sound Sentry Solution portfolio for secure meeting rooms. It provides cyber security protection for meeting rooms by neutralising any potential threats with the push of a remote-control button, instantly cutting power to peripheral media devices. Unlike pressing ‘mute’, cutting power eliminates any surveillance functionality, hardening the room to match the meeting’s security level.

• On-Demand Power neutralisation: Instantly cut power to specific peripherals like video bars or displays, moving from an unclassified collaboration session to a secure, closed-door meeting, with the push of a button
• Seamless RS-232 Integration: Easily incorporate the Smart Power Port into any existing programmable room control system for intuitive and Centralised security management, using RS-232 wired-only communications
• SoundSentry™ Compatible: Designed to work in tandem with HSL’s complete portfolio for secure meeting rooms, creating a multi-layered defence against eavesdropping and data leakage
• Regional Suitability: The Smart Power Port comes in three regional type variants:
• Type B - U.S.A. - NEMA 5-15
• Type F - CEE 7/4 Germany “Schuko” Earthed
• Type H - Israel - SI 32
