When a public-address system spans a shopping mall, hotel or transport hub, the people making the announcements need a fast, foolproof way to reach exactly the right area - without touching a computer. The Proel RM88 is the desktop paging console that gives them that control. Paired with the Proel DMP88 8x8 digital matrix over a single RS485 connection, the RM88 puts call-to-zone paging at the operator's fingertips: nine illuminated zone keys let staff address one zone, a custom group of zones, or the whole site, while a built-in chime cleanly announces every page. A flexible gooseneck electret microphone keeps speech intelligible and hands free, and independent mic-level and chime-level controls let each station be tuned to its room. Housed in a solid, low-profile black desktop enclosure, the RM88 is the front-of-house complement to the DMP88's signal processing - the simple human interface for an otherwise sophisticated installed-sound system.
