When an EN54 evacuation rack runs on a 48 V DC emergency battery bus but the ancillary devices around it - interface boards, signalling logic, auxiliary controllers - expect a clean 24 V supply, you need a converter that bridges the two without dropping out when the mains fails. The Proel 48TO24V2A5 is that bridge: a DC/DC step-down converter that takes the 48 V backup rail used across Proel's modular voice-alarm amplifiers and delivers a regulated 24 V DC output rated to 2.5 A, so the rest of your 24 V chain keeps running on battery power exactly as it does on mains. Specified to live inside the same rack ecosystem as Proel's EN54 modular amplifiers (PA DM250 / DM550 / DM750), it lets you standardise an installation on a single 48 V backup bus while still feeding legacy and third-party 24 V equipment.
