The AE300R1 is the certified life-safety voice for sites that need EN 54 protection without a full rack of components. Compliant with EN 54-16 (voice alarm) and EN 54-4 (charger and battery test) and delivered as an 11U wall-mount chassis, it integrates a main and a backup 300W Class D Pure Path amplifier on a redundant A+B 100V loudspeaker line, an audiophile 16-bit / 48kHz DSP, a built-in 48V battery charger and tester, and the backup batteries themselves (4 x 12V 7.2Ah) - so a site engineer mounts one box, terminates the speaker lines, and the system is operational. A continuous 18 kHz FFT impedance circuit watches the line for cuts, shorts and ground faults; if anything fails, the backup amplifier seamlessly takes over and a relay flags it to the fire panel. In normal operation it doubles as a full-featured PA: balanced background music in, an isolated microphone input with selectable 48V phantom, 8 schedulable general announcements on microSD, 3-band EQ with compressor/expander, and a frontpanel PPT mic and monitor speaker. RS485, RS232 and 10/100 Ethernet bring it under remote supervision; a key-locked door and password-protected menu keep walk-up changes out.
Features
- EN 54-16 + EN 54-4 certified all-in-one voice alarm in an 11U wall-mount chassis - one box covers system, charger and batteries with no extra rack to specify
- Redundant 300W + 300W Class D Pure Path amplifiers on a redundant A+B 100V line: an amp or line failure never silences the announcement
- Continuous 18 kHz FFT line monitoring (+/-5%) detects cuts, shorts and ground faults; no end-of-line resistor required
- Doubles as a daily PA: balanced background music in, 48V phantom mic in, 8 microSD messages with scheduler, 3-band EQ and compressor/expander
- Integrated EN 54-4 charger and battery tester with 4 x 12V 7.2Ah batteries included - 36 hours standby + 0.5 hour at full power; RS485, RS232 and 10/100 Ethernet for supervision
