In every EN54-16 voice-alarm system someone needs to take charge - and in regulated installations that someone is the fire brigade. The Proel PA DBEVFR1 is the wall-mounted, fully monitored Firemen's Call Station (base VVF) built exactly for that handover: a red powder-coated steel cabinet, status LEDs, a PTT handheld microphone monitored against cable cut and short, and a security key-switch that arms the station only for authorised responders. Two backlit pushbuttons trigger the preconfigured EVAC and ALARM messages stored in the central VAE unit, while the PTT mic takes absolute priority for live announcements. The station sits on the EN54-16 monitored bus over standard UTP Cat.5 with RJ45 - daisy-chain up to 54 stations on one run (300m max) via the two pass-through RJ45 connectors, with DIP-switch address (1-54), bus select (BUS-0 / BUS-1) and terminator. Power is drawn from the central unit, with an optional local 24 Vdc adapter for the farthest stations on long runs of 10+ bases. The whole assembly mounts flat to the wall at 23.2 x 25.2 x 4.9 cm and 2.6 kg, with SYSTEM and BUSY LEDs (green / red / orange) mirroring the central panel state at a glance.
