When a building's voice-alarm and public-address racks must keep talking around the clock, the Proel PA DM250 delivers 250W of clean, constant-voltage power in a single slim module. Switch-mode power supply (SMPS) technology and transformerless 70V/100V output let Proel pack a full professional power unit into one rack-slot height, so you fit up to eight DM-Power modules side by side in the 3U MDA8C rack frame and scale a system zone-by-zone without wasting space or adding weight. On-board 24-bit/48kHz DSP handles master level, microphone gain, soft-VOX, and low/high tone shaping, while a dedicated PA-HF speech-clarity filter keeps announcements intelligible. A built-in 48Vdc emergency input keeps the amplifier running from battery backup when mains fails, and a multi-level protection system with self-fault recovery, speaker short-circuit and overload limiting, thermal fan control, and a DSP clipping limiter guards both the unit and the loudspeaker line. An energy-saving circuit trims standby draw to just 50mA on DC, making the DM250 an efficient, dependable building block for any installed voice-alarm or background-music system.

Features

  • 250W of constant-voltage 70V/100V output drives long 100V loudspeaker lines directly - no bulky output transformer, no extra rack space
  • Eight modules fit in one 3U MDA8C rack frame, so you add power one zone at a time and keep the whole system in a single slim chassis
  • On-board 24-bit/48kHz DSP gives master level, mic gain, soft-VOX and tone control, plus a PA-HF filter that lifts speech intelligibility for clear evacuation messages
  • Integrated 48Vdc emergency-supply input keeps the amplifier live on battery backup when mains power is lost
  • Multi-level protection with self-fault recovery, short-circuit output disconnection, overload current limiting and thermal management protects the amp and the speaker line
  • Energy-saving circuit drops no-signal consumption to just 50mA on DC for low running cost in always-on installations
  • Balanced line input on Euroblock plus a priority mic/line input on RJ45 make it easy to wire into structured PA and paging systems
