Conference rooms and lecture halls keep hitting the same wall: the room has multiple cameras — a wide-angle for the audience, a presenter PTZ, a doc cam, sometimes a UC speakerphone with its own embedded camera — but the laptop or UC platform driving the call only sees one webcam at a time. The iTrans UC-HUB402 ends that compromise by mixing four sources (two HDMI for broadcast/PTZ feeds and two USB for UC-native cameras) into a single 4K@30Hz UVC stream that any Zoom, Teams or Webex platform sees as a regular USB webcam. A second HDMI output mirrors that stream for confidence monitoring or recording while HDMI OUT1 runs the same content at full 4K@60Hz on the room display. Mid-meeting layouts switch live — quad view to show all four angles, picture-in-picture to bring up a discussion side-bar, side-by-side for an interview, pyramid when one camera leads and the others watch — without dropping the USB stream the platform sees. NDI ingest pulls up to four more cameras from anywhere on the network and outputs one mirrored stream back into the LAN, so a remote room or fly-away camera joins the mix with no new cable run. The built-in USB 3.0 hub passes two peripheral ports through to the host PC, the analog audio I/O pair folds the room mic and DSP feed into the same flow, and a front-panel OLED with hardware buttons lets an operator switch sources without a laptop. Web UI, Telnet API and RS-232 give the room control system the same surface for automation.
Features
- Four-camera mix in one box — 2x HDMI inputs (4K@30Hz, HDCP 1.4) + 2x USB 3.0 UVC inputs — collapses a multi-camera room into a single 4K@30Hz USB-C webcam stream any UC platform sees as a webcam
- Triple simultaneous output — HDMI OUT1 at 4K@60Hz (HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2) to the room display, HDMI OUT2 at 4K@30Hz (HDMI 1.4) mirrored to the USB-C HOST for Zoom / Teams / Webex; no second box, no compromise
- NDI over LAN — up to 4 NDI inputs ingested at 4K@30Hz (or quad-stream at 1080p@60Hz) and one mirrored NDI output; remote cameras join the mix without a new cable run
- Live multi-view layouts — Full Screen, Quad, Picture-in-Picture, Side-by-Side and Pyramid — switch mid-call without interrupting the USB stream the platform sees
- Built-in USB 3.0 hub — 2 peripheral ports pass through to the USB-C HOST, so a touch panel, keyboard or USB storage hangs off the same single cable to the host laptop
- Audio matrix — LPCM 2-channel routing between USB inputs, HDMI inputs, USB HOST and the analog audio I/O pair; per-source volume and mute, no PC mixer required
- Three control surfaces — front-panel OLED + buttons for an operator on the spot, Web UI for a room admin, Telnet API and RS-232 for the room control system
- Seamless low-latency switching, Windows + macOS compatibility, 25x14x2.5cm slim metal enclosure (0.92kg) — fits behind a credenza or on a rack shelf, plugs in over a single USB-C cable to the host
